We had a wonderful week at the fantastic Granite House. Especially since the weather in mid-December wasn’t great, it was incredibly cozy and warm. We lit the fireplace and thoroughly enjoyed this perfectly equipped house. Every day there was fresh oranges, tangerines, persimmons, and all the herbs we needed for cooking, straight from the garden. An unforgettable time in beautiful natural surroundings with wonderful hosts! We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it!

We had a truly wonderful time at The Baker’s Cottage – it was the perfect place to relax and enjoy our holiday. Everything was lovingly prepared and thoughtfully arranged, so we felt right at home from the very first moment.

We stayed in the Yellow House (including the annexes) for a week at the beginning of October, a group of four, and had a wonderful time. The entire ambiance of this exceptional property is indescribably beautiful. In addition to the very tastefully, high-quality, and individually furnished houses, which lack absolutely nothing, the grounds are also beautifully landscaped.

We particularly noticed the several comfortable seating areas outside, all equipped with high-quality parasols. We felt very much at home. The location of the houses is also excellent.

The towns and beaches of the south and west coasts are easily accessible. A special tip from the hosts was the stunning beach of Odeceixe (just under an hour’s drive away). Check-in and check-out, as well as the service provided by Marie-Anne, the on-site property manager, were top-notch. Everything was perfect in terms of the furnishings and cleanliness of the apartments. We would love to come back again.

As an architect, it was a pleasure to stay in a carefully designed holiday home like Quinta Da Lila. The house, its surroundings and the wider environment have resulted in an inspiring yet relaxing holiday 😉

We wanted to express our appreciation for the design and all features we were able to enjoy at the quinta. What we certainly want to point out is: the fantastic design and attention to detail, the chosen furniture pieces, the artwork, even the candles – it gives the house a personality and definitely distinguishes this place from all typical second residences available for rent during summer; the magnificent sound system which we enjoyed during the colder evenings while reading a book in the cosy living area; the fresh fruits we could go and grab in the surrounding trees; the different lighting sources for inside and outside, such that we could adjust the light to the desired mood; the fully equipped kitchen, which provided all necessary tools and features we could wish for, and last but not least: the very comfortable beds

Congratulations to the owners, local house manager and cleaning staff to guide us and welcome us in an impeccable house we would definitely recommend to family & friends!

We spent a wonderful week at The Baker’s Cottage. The house and the entire property are beautifully designed. The plunge pool and the small kitchen, which is equipped with everything you need, as well as the design, are the highlights. The location is wonderfully idyllic. The numerous beaches and towns in the south and west of the Algarve are within easy reach, and it’s a great starting point for hikes through the cork oak forests. We highly recommend Quinta da Lila 🙂

The five of us spent a wonderful week at The Yellow House. Where do I begin to rave about it? The location in the countryside (open, rolling hills with chickens clucking peacefully somewhere in the neighborhood), the high-quality furnishings, thoughtfully designed down to the last detail (not a thing is missing!), the unusual pool, the style (minimalism at its best in spacious, high-ceilinged rooms), the short distance to the beaches (a good half hour to the south, a little longer to the west) – and the trustworthy and uncomplicated communication with Herman & Angela. Conclusion: Five-star deluxe!

My wife and I spent a wonderful, relaxing week at The Baker’s Cottage in early April. We greatly appreciated the peace and quiet and the walking distance to the village. The hikes into the cork and eucalyptus forests on the nearby hills are highly recommended. The south and west coasts are also within a comfortable drive. There was nothing missing in and around the cottage, making it comfortable even on a rainy day. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, you’ll find it there!

Thank you for the unforgettable days at Granit House. It couldn’t have been more beautiful. You can truly feel the love and effort you put into the place. Communication with you, even on-site, was warm and uncomplicated. Thank you for that too. With the option of having a private outdoor area at each house, the proximity to Monchique, beautiful hiking opportunities directly from the house, and the proximity to the beaches, the Quinta is a true discovery. A place where we could easily stay a little longer and one to which we would very much like to return.

We were fortunate enough to spend a week at the beautifully designed Quinta da Lila during the Christmas holidays. It was very peaceful, the weather was lovely, and, above all, we had oranges, tangerines, and lemons to pick directly from the trees in front of the comfortable “Granite House” where we stayed. We had a fresh morning juice every day, and then it was just a short drive to various beautiful places in the Algarve.
