The Baker’s Cottage may be our smallest house, but it offers an exceptional experience. Nestled in the heart of the vineyard, it boasts breathtaking views towards Picota, the Algarve’s second highest peak. The cottage also features its own private terraces and a year-round natural pool, fed by fresh mountain water. Ideal for a romantic getaway or a peaceful escape for two.
The property is best suited for families with children aged 12 and over or for adults-only stays.
The Space
The Baker’s Cottage, once home to a bread oven, is a charming retreat divided into two spaces: a cozy living area and a tranquil bedroom. The living area features a kitchenette, dining table, seating area, and a wood burner for winter, while underfloor heating and air conditioning units provide comfort year-round. The bedroom has an ensuite shower, toilet, and wash basin.
True to our style, The Baker’s Cottage includes unique vintage pieces, such as a rare 1960s floor lamp by Luigi Massoni and a pair of 1970s Bruno Rey dining chairs.
Outside, enjoy an outdoor shower (hot and cold water), a decked terrace with an outdoor dining area, a small lounge terrace, and a secluded deck perfect for yoga. The highlight of the Baker’s Cottage is the natural mountain-fed pool, complemented by its own private sun terrace.

The Baker’s Cottage is available for rentals starting from 4 nights, with no fixed changeover day, allowing flexibility for arrival and departure on any day. However, during July, August, and the Christmas and New Year’s period, the minimum stay is 7 nights. Additionally, bookings during this time must either be connected to an existing reservation or have a gap of at least 7 nights between them.
